Learning All About How to Make Money Your Honey with Amanda Abella

by Sophia Bera on January 22, 2014

We’re doing something new at Gen Y Planning today! I’m excited to share a really fun, informative interview with you (and a big shout-out to Eva from Teens Got Cents for sharing an idea with me on how to record this interview!). I sat down to chat with Amanda Abella, a Gen Y life coach who helps others make positive, innovative changes to their careers, businesses, and more. She’s also the author of Amazon bestselling book, Make Money Your Money: A Spirited Entrepreneur’s Guide to Having a Love Affair with Work and Money. (How awesome is that title?)

As I mention in the interview, I believe entrepreneurship is the new job security for Millennials. If you’ve ever wanted to understand how to make the leap from employee to self-employed, are curious about how to manage your work and money better, or need to optimize your role as an entrepreneur, you need to check out this handbook to success with your career and your finances. It’s written in a really accessible way, which I love, and is packed with real value and actionable ideas you can put to work to improve your situation with work and money.

Amanda and I discussed how her book focuses on how you can earn more and build your business, and goes into detail about pivotal steps you can take to successfully work for yourself. We talked about the great exercises (like energy management and turning to-do lists into to-dah! lists) she provides for readers to complete. Amanda also raises some excellent questions within the book, and we go into what inspired her to include them.
